The art of the Quarryman

Mark making workshop based on the slate carvings of Dyffryn Ogwen
15 December 10am - 1pm (Free!)
We will respond to the art exhibition ‘Aelwyd’ by the artist Sian Owen, which is being exhibited at Bethesda Community Library.
We will be working on site at Llys Dafydd - a celebration of the slate industry created by the artist, Ann Catrin Evans.
Using mixed media such as slate rubbings, collage and batik you will have a chance to develop your own original and personal work.
Come and join us to either create your own selection of work suitable for an exhibition or make a selection of cards based on the quarrymen’s craft.
