ARTS AWARD - Discover and Explore Training
Plas Mawr, Conwy – 21st May 2019
Do you work with young people? Support their creative development with Arts Award. Train as an Arts Award Discover & Explore adviser and learn everything you need to deliver these two Arts Award levels, enabling you to support children and young people aged up to 25 to discover and explore the arts and cultural activity. Arts Award is open to young people of all interests and backgrounds, and can be delivered within a variety of settings and timescales through any arts, cultural or media activity. Arts Award Explore is an Entry Level 3 qualification on the Qualifications and Credit Framework. Arts Award Discover is an introductory level. The training will take place from 10am, and a bespoke session to help you plan your delivery is scheduled to take place in the afternoon. MALD will meet the costs of the training and funding will be available for delegates to apply for to cover certification/moderation and materials for the delivery of Arts Award.
