Focus/enquiry question for the project: Both schools would like to develop English oracy skills with year 4 pupils. Develop pupil confidence and create new creative skills, using literature, drama, script writing, poetry, story or film.

St Christopher’s School is the largest specialist school in Wales offering many wonderful things for pupils.

Main art form/ practice required - We are looking for two Creative Practitioners who are inspired by the outdoors, communication methods and developing others’ confidence in this area. Therefore, the school would welcome applications from practitioners such as story tellers, sculptors, forest school, drama, music and film. Applications are very much welcome from other Creative Practitioners who feel that they have inspiring ideas and skills to offer this project.

Main focus / Enquiry Question of the project - Can engagement with digital technology enhance children’s creative learning skills and accelerate progress in the four mathematical procedures ?

Who we are looking for - We are looking for an inspiring Creative Practitioner(s) to work closely with our Teachers to help our learners engage enthusiastically and creatively with existing numeracy learning, using digital technology, coding, film and animation.
Central to our project is the voice of the learners, and we will need you to be skilled at facilitating their ideas and input. The project will need to be sustainable, and use School resources and equipment as much as possible. You do not need to be a mathematician.

Closing date for application: Wednesday 8th November (Midnight)
Short-listing:Thursday 9th November
Interview date: Tuesday 14th November PM
