My practice explores a sense of place and the idea of being deeply connected to the landscape. This includes exploring the full potential of slate by incorporating them with ceramic processes to create objects that portray forms of the land. This is part of a cyclical process in which I, personally shaped by the surrounding landscape, form and shape the raw materials that come out of it.
