Beyond the Border, Wales' premier International Storytelling Festival

Beyond the Border, the Wales International Storytelling Festival, has announced a special one-day online event to mark the occasion when the festival has been taking place in Dinefwr, Carmarthenshire.

Re-imagined: Beyond the Border Online is a short 1-day festival on Saturday July 4, 2020, presented on page Facebook channel of YouTube Beyond the Border, with a combination of storytelling and music streaming live and pre-recorded in Welsh English. Some sessions are free and others are charged.

Speaking about the festival online, Naomi Wilds said: “Stories are more important than ever. They feed us in difficult times - they focus on what really matters, or give us the opportunity to escape so that we can take a break from the harsh realities of our world. Importantly, they help us connect together and, crucially, help us imagine new ways to come. Since the start of the lock-up period we have been sharing short stories online, running weekly support webinars and changing how we presented projects to keep in touch - this special online event helps all of us to look forward together. ”
